Fishers Custom Bar and Basement Remodel
At this Fishers area home we completed an entire basement remodel along with other work throughout the home. We removed the existing bar in the basement and tore out the adjacent bedroom wall to provide additional space. To carry the weight of the two floors above the basement, we had to install a 14 foot beam above the new bar space. We also put in new steel columns and a foundation to help carry the load. Woodshapes Unlimited Inc. built and installed new hickory cabinets with tobacco stain and shading in the bar area. The new bar has tape lights, glass, and other custom features to accommodate many bottles. We also installed new flooring throughout the basement and veneer brick arches which provide an Italian grotto aesthetic. Paul Schouten from Schouten Metalcraft Inc. forged a custom metal door which leads to the bar from the back of the home. Lastly, we remodeled three other bedroom bathrooms in the home and completed additional work in the bonus room.
